Hi all,

Could you please help me out with safe Moderate and ambitious Universities. Here's my profile.

Master's in MIS

10th : 9.4 cgpa
12th: 92.4%
B.E in IT: 85.57%
GRE : 311. Q: 161, V:150, AWA:3.5
TOEFL: 110

Work Exp: 20 months as Application Specialist at S&P Global Market Intelligence

Haven't done with SOP and LOR yet.

You could go for ASU rather than University of Arizona. UTA UMCP UCinn seems quite ambitious. You could remove anyone among these and add NEU.

There's nothing like sure shot. UTD and Syracuse are pretty safe depending on last year's admit.

I haven't categorised them yet. But may be the following:
UIUC
CMU
Suny Buffalo
Stony Brooks
Univ of Illinois at chicago
Univ of Arizona
UTD (considering safe option for now)

I am yet to research about the mis programs that these universities offer. Didn't go through it in detail. So may be depending on that my list may change.
In case you guys have an idea about universities that is better in terms of the MIS course then please suggest. That would be a great help.

Some of the above universities might be a little too ambitious for my profile.. :p

Hello again..could you guys help me in deciding between ASU and University of Arizona for MIS program.

I see that the MIS program at University of Arizona seems to have a lot of reputation. However it's fee seems to be high compared to ASU. Which one should I be considering? I went through the course details of both the programs and both seemed decent to me.

Hello..could you please let me know how are the placement opportunities for students pursuing MS in MIS in these schools especially in SUNY Buffalo, UTD, UIC and NEU.
Is it difficult relative to CS grads??

Their webpage does show a lot of companies but I know a student in UTD pursuing MS ITM who is not yet placed.
