  • A Valid Bachelor’s Degree: The first eligibility requirement for a master's in architecture is that you must have a bachelor's degree in architecture or related field.
  • Portfolio: Most architecture colleges in Germany require students to submit their own work or portfolio in digital form. The portfolio should demonstrate the student’s skills and motivation for studying architecture.
  • Language Proficiency Requirements: Courses related to masters of architecture in Germany are taught in German or English. Universities with German as the language of instruction require German proficiency at a B2 level in accordance with the Common European Reference for Languages. However, some universities may require a certificate of a higher C1 level as well. Apart from proficiency in German, students may also be required to produce English proficiency scores in IELTS (6.5 or above) or TOEFL (80 or above).
