What is it?

Sports are an important part of our life, especially during our childhood. Playing sports with friends was the most popular leisure during childhood. Cricket and football were the most popular sports we played as children and into our teens. However, basketball is the one sport that I enjoy playing more than others.

How did you first know about it?

I first learned about basketball when I was in school. Our school had a small basketball court in the playground. During recess, we would often see our seniors playing. The game looked exciting, with players dribbling the ball, passing it to their teammates, and trying to score baskets. The sound of the ball bouncing on the court and the cheers from the players drew my attention, and I became curious about the sport.

How often do you practice?

I do not play basketball frequently, but practice whenever possible. Back then during school and college, I used to play basketball with friends twice a week. But now due to work and other commitments, I take time to play at least once a week.

Explain why it is your favorite sport.

Basketball is my favorite sport for several reasons. I love the fast-paced nature of the game. The constant movement, passing, and scoring opportunities keep me engaged and energized throughout the game. It's a sport that demands quick reflexes, agility, and strategic thinking, which makes it mentally and physically challenging.

What is it?

Football, also known as soccer, has been my passion since childhood. In India, where cricket is often the main sport, football has gained a special place among the youth, with millions of enthusiasts participating daily, driven by their love for the game.

How did you first know about it?

I was first introduced to football when I was 13 years old. My school had a large sports stadium where various activities were offered, including cricket, basketball, volleyball, and, football. While I had an interest in other sports, there was something about football that captivated me from the very beginning.

How often do you practice?

During my school days, I always wait for the class to end to join my friends for football. Nowadays, with the demands of work and studies, I don't play as often as I once did. However, whenever time permits, I make it a point to organize a casual match with my old classmates, rekindling the joy we shared on the pitch.

Explain why it is your favorite sport.

Football offers a unique blend of physical and mental benefits. The game demands stamina, agility, and strategic thinking, helping me stay fit while sharpening my problem-solving skills. Moreover, football has taught me the invaluable lesson of teamwork, a skill that has proven invaluable in various aspects of my life.

Swimming is a sport that has captured my heart and become my absolute favorite. The graceful movements, the cool embrace of the water, and the sense of freedom it provides have contributed to my love for this activity.

I was first introduced to swimming at the age of 10. My father recognized the importance of water safety and enrolled me in swimming classes.

How often do you practice?

Even today, I make it a priority to maintain a regular swimming routine. I visit the local pool every weekend, accompanied by my younger sibling who has caught the swimming bug. My sibling looks up to me, and I take great pride in passing on the knowledge and techniques I've acquired over the years, watching them progress and share in the joy of this aquatic pursuit.

There are numerous reasons why swimming holds such a special place in my heart. Firstly, it is an incredibly effective full-body workout, helping me maintain high physical fitness and overall well-being. Additionally, the sport contributes to increased height, a benefit I've personally experienced due to my genetics.

My journey with running began in my childhood when I would accompany my grandfather on regular jogs. Those early morning outings instilled a love for the sport and fostered a deep appreciation for the discipline and dedication required to maintain a consistent running routine. Over the years, running has transformed from a casual pastime into a lifelong passion that I embrace wholeheartedly.

How often do you practice?

Nowadays, running has become a sacred ritual in my daily routine. Each morning at 5 a.m., I go to the nearby park, lacing up my shoes and embarking on an exciting run.
