• What type of party it was?

It was my childhood friend Raj's birthday celebration. We have been friends since kindergarten, and we invited one another to every event held for our achievements or birthdays, since then. This time, It was his eighteenth birthday celebration, and he invited my family and me.

• Where was the party held?

It was an extravagant party held at a magnificent hotel not far from my house, Hyatt Regency. The place was adorned according to a theme - cars. He had always been a die-hard F1 fan, so that was unsurprising to me. At the party, there was excellent cuisine, beverages, and games.

• Who attended the party with you?

Not only did I attend the party with my family members, but many of our schoolmates who we hadn't met in a long time also came along with their families. That added to the fun, as we all reminisced about our shared times in school.

• Conclusion

In all, that celebration is the one I will never regret attending. I was thankful for my friendship with Raj and content after catching up with our old mates.

For my cue card on "Describe a party you attended and joined", I would like to talk about a close friend's housewarming party I went to a few months ago.

• What type of party it was?

My friend, Bhargav, who had just moved into a new apartment, organised this party. To celebrate the start of a new chapter in his life and to welcome friends and family into his new home, there was a housewarming celebration.

• Where was the party held?

The event was held at his large, elegantly furnished apartment in a bustling neighbourhood.

• Who attended the party with you?

A variety of close friends, family members, and coworkers were on the guest list, all of them excited to congratulate her and celebrate this significant occasion.

• Conclusion

The housewarming ceremony was a lovely occasion to honour friendships, fresh starts, and the comforts of home. It served as a testament to the power of togetherness to commemorate life's significant events. I'm happy to have joined this happy occasion and am looking forward to making many special memories with my friend in her new house.

Reading this cue card topic reminds me of a lavish party I attended in 2022, to celebrate Diwali.

My aunt and uncle hosted a party to celebrate one of the most widely recognised festivals in India, Diwali. Family members from near and far came together to celebrate the victory of light over darkness.

The property had a lively and inviting ambience thanks to the festive decorations. It was a memorable event as I was meeting my distant relatives after several years. The joyous atmosphere, the mouthwatering cuisine, and the presence of loved ones made it overwhelming and a core memory for me.

One of my relatives threw a brilliant wedding celebration last summer, and it was one of the most fun events I've ever been to.

My cousin, who had recently tied the knot with his lifelong partner, was hosting the party. It was a grand reception to celebrate their marriage and share their happiness with family and friends.

The reception was hosted in an elegant banquet hall in the heart of the city. Laughter and lighthearted conversation filled the space, and there was a general feeling of celebration and good cheer.
