Bucknell University offers a variety of research opportunities for undergraduate students, starting the summer before their first semester and continuing through all four years. Some of the ways to get involved in research at Bucknell include:

  • The Program for Undergraduate Research (PUR): This is a University-wide program that provides awards to students to conduct research, engage in other scholarships or undertake creative projects with faculty mentors during the summer. Students will receive $400 per week and on-campus housing during their PUR work, for up to 10 weeks.

Fellows will receive a $4,000 award to defray living expenses and fellows also qualify for on-campus housing at no charge.
