Lipscomb University, a private Christian institution in Nashville, Tennessee, is affiliated with the Churches of Christ. The university's main campus is situated in the Green Hills neighbourhood, and it also operates a satellite location called "Spark" in Downtown Nashville, catering to the business community. As of the fall 2022 semester, Lipscomb had a total enrollment of 4,704 students, comprising 2,955 undergraduates and 1,749 graduate students.

Founded in 1891 by David Lipscomb and James A. Harding, the university's campus largely occupies the former estate of David Lipscomb, who generously donated the land to the school. From its inception, Lipscomb University was designed to be a Christian liberal arts institution, a mission it continues to uphold today. The university remains affiliated with the Churches of Christ and includes a seminary as part of its academic offerings.

Campus

The James D. Hughes Center is home to all of the university's health science programs, including the physician assistant program. Located next door, the Nursing and Health Sciences Center houses the graduate programs for the College of Nursing.

Lipscomb University has also announced plans for a new building dedicated to the College of Business, as well as a new performing arts centre.
