Transportation in the city

There are a few different transportation options available in the city of Abilene, Texas, near Abilene Christian University.

  • CityLink: CityLink is the public bus system for the City of Abilene. It has 10 routes that serve most of the city, including ACU. Bus fares are $1.25 for adults and $0.50 for seniors and children. CityLink buses run from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM on weekdays and Saturdays, and from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Sundays.
  • Wildcat Wheels: Wildcat Wheels is a free shuttle service for ACU students, faculty, and staff. It has two routes that serve the campus and the surrounding area, including Walmart. Wildcat Wheels runs from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays.
  • Taxis: There are several taxi companies in Abilene, including ABI Taxi, RoadRunner Taxi, and Lynkup Taxi Service. Taxi fares start at around $2.50 for the first mile and then increase by $0.25 for each additional mile.
