The University of Wisconsin Stout, established in 1891, is a public university that offers specialised studies "in industry, technology, home economics, applied art, and the assisting professions." It has an enrollment of 10,000 students representing 47 countries.
It offers 49 University of Wisconsin Stout undergraduate courses and 22 University of Wisconsin Stout master's courses, including two advanced courses. The University of Wisconsin Stout is one of the nation's 125 polytechnic universities.
Officials from MIT assisted in opening a fab lab on the UW-Stout campus, making it the only university in Wisconsin with such a facility. The UW System Governing board named it Wisconsin's polytechnic university in the fall of 2007 and again in 2013. A few more reasons to study here are:-
