University of the Sunshine Coast: Acceptance Rate, Fees & Courses

It is not a hassle for the students to move around the city since there are great transportation facilities. Students can use personal bikes for short commutes and use public vehicles for long ones. They can also rent vehicles as and when required. At the University of the Sunshine Coast, Sunbus runs regularly between multiple locations within Sunshine Coast and the campus of the university at Sippy Downs. There is the presence of a dedicated USC transit center as well to promote transportation of the students across the university.

• Library and research include books, journals, articles, and a wide range of information databases.
• Learning resources and support include one-to-one support, academic skills workshops, online advice, etc.
• Counseling that is both free and confidential and carried out by a qualified psychologist is available to the students anytime they need such service.
• Indigenous services include learning spaces, support services, a culturally safe environment, and academic mentoring.
• SafeUSC is a service for emergencies, and officers are available 24/7.
• Careers and employability are taken care of by the career and employability cell of the University.
• Financial support and University of the Sunshine Coast scholarships have their cell available to the students to help them with their tuition fees and other studying costs.
• A student success team is there to help the students settle into the university environment, connect them with all information and support services possible, and discuss with them regularly about their studies and how they're fitting in.
• There are several support services for international students exclusively to feel at home in the shortest possible time.
• A student hub is ever eager to help students on any issue. The student hub is also available online for students to access various career resources, book appointments with support staff, search for jobs, register for particular workshops and events, etc.

• You may choose to live in a student village, find a place of your own, or even share a house with a friend.
• USC does not provide student accommodation on campus.
• The university can recommend several websites and rental agents and connect you to them.
• Most of the accommodations come with necessities and facilities, including a kitchen or kitchenette, a launderette, high-speed Wi-Fi, etc.

For private share accommodation, the costs can be around AUD 215 (INR 11,608) per week.
