The University of the Fraser Valley was established in 1974. It is a government institute located in Abbotsford, Canada. Utrecht. UFV has one more campus apart from Abbotsford, located in Chilliwack, Canada. The University of the Fraser Valley is one of the largest colleges in Canada, providing vocational training. Transportation in the city

The University of the Fraser Valley has various local transportation services. Students can reach the campus by the shuttle service provided by the university. The shuttle service picks up students from the Chilliwack Stations Trades and Tech Center, Abbotsford Station, and Canada Educational Park. In addition, students can take the nearest bus from the transit route, including Abbotsford regional hospital, Mission city station, etc., to reach the university at affordable prices.


Services offered by the university

  • Students can enjoy the large University of the Fraser Valley campus, located in Abbotsford and Chilliwack. The college has all the basic amenities, including well-equipped classrooms, auditorium, office space, study rooms, labs, book store, canteen, computer access center, theater, etc., which students can take advantage of.
  • Students can access the on-campus library 24/7, which has a collection of over a thousand journals, e-books, videos, DVDs, etc., related to different disciplines. 
  • University of the Fraser Valley campus in Chilliwack has a wellness center, a dental clinic and a nursing station that takes care of students' health-related issues.

  • Students can use the on-campus Sports facilities. The university houses an Envision Athletic Center with two gymnasiums. UFV provides various athletic programs in which both male and female students can take part in basketball & soccer championships.
