  • Choosing your program - Have a look at the program catalog of the University of Memphis and select the program that suits your requirements the best. Check the admission requirements well while narrowing down your choices.
  • Applying for the program - After you finalize a program, apply online through UofM’s official website. Be certain to go through the Application Checklist thoroughly. 
  • Preparing the Documents - Applicants must also upload their unofficial international transcript or marks sheet (high school/secondary or college/university) using UofM’s secure document upload system. 
  • Submitting the Application - Submit your application with all the required documents and test scores, and pay USD $50, which is approximately INR 4000, for the non-refundable undergraduate application fee.

Documents Required to Apply to University of Memphis

  • On the website of UofM, you can trace the list of documents required for admission. You should upload all the documents on the Admissions Secured Documents Upload portal on their website.
  • You may upload multiple documents but may upload only one file at a time. The documents may have either of these extensions - '.PDF', '.JPEG', '.TIFF', '.BMP', or '.GIF', and should not exceed the size of 10MB.
  • Read the instructions on the Admissions Secured Documents Upload portal very carefully before submitting the documents, as non-adherence to either of those may lead to non-submission of files.

  • Some courses may require the submission of additional documents, which must be duly produced by the applicant.
  • All international transfer applicants shall be required to get their international documents evaluated by a U.S. credentialing agency that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).

Transportation in the city

The University of Memphis provides general parking on campus for all the students who wish to commute using personal vehicles. The general parking permit is included in the cost of tuition, and priority parking permits are available to students who wish to park their cars in priority lots. Carpooling is also encouraged to promote sustainable transportation.

UofM offers an on-campus blue line bus service - the Blue Line, which students can use for free during operating hours. Students who are on campus at night and do not feel comfortable walking alone to their vehicle or residence hall can avail a volunteer escort service by calling the Tiger Escort.
