The University has alliances with regional and international academic institutions to provide students with facilities like student exchange and study abroad programmes. The University is a member of Universities at Medway, a partnership of educational establishments at Chatham Maritime developing a major highway education centre in the Medway region.
- The University offers foundational courses for the incoming students and apprenticeships for professionals to improve their skills and expertise, enabling them to prepare for further study. Programs are available in a blended mode of study.
- According to the environmental rating of "People @ Planet Green League Table", Greenwich University is the most "green" University in the UK. The carbon dioxide emissions were reduced by 22% compared to 2005. The University has also installed solar panels, generates electricity from renewable resources and even has its apiary.
The University offers financial aid to students in loans, fee waivers and grants. Greenwich University Scholarships include International Scholarship Award GBP 3000(INR 284,875), Alumni Postgraduate Award GBP 5000(INR 4,74,793 ) and David Fussey Choral Exhibition Bursary GBP 1000( INR 94,958).
