Established in 1921, Rosemont College is a private catholic liberal arts college which is located in Rosemont, Pennsylvania. The college was founded as a women's college by the Sisters of the Holy Child Jesus. Rosemont College has 593 undergraduate students and 526 postgraduate students.Rosemont College provides 24 major undergraduate courses awarding Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, and Bachelor of Science degrees.It is a member of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Consortium for Higher Education and is also accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
Rosemont College provides a range of master's degrees through the School of Graduate Studies and School of Professional Studies. The college provides teacher certification programs in elementary education and secondary education including the pre-professional programs in dentistry,veterinary science, medicine, and law. The university has developed cooperative agreements with Villanova University, Arcadia University Eastern University, Cabrini College, Gwynedd Mercy University,Chestnut Hill College and Holy Family.
