• Traditional dorms are usually shared by two or three students, and each resident has a bed, dresser, desk, and chair. Some traditional dorms also have shared bathrooms, while others have private bathrooms.
• Suites are usually shared by four to eight students, and each resident has a bedroom and shared bathroom. Suites also have a common living area.

Graduate Housing: All graduate housing units are furnished and include high-speed internet and access to the Rice Shuttle Service. Rice University offers graduate housing in three different communities:

• Rice Village Apartments are located in the Rice Village, a vibrant neighborhood adjacent to campus. The Rice Village Apartments offer various one- and two-bedroom apartments.
• Rice University Townhomes are the newest graduate housing option at Rice. The townhomes are located near the main campus and offer three- and four-bedroom units.
