The Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in Helmholtz provides 4-8 weeks of internship opportunities to undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students in interdisciplinary fields. The student should have a B.Sc/MS.c degree to apply.
Undergraduates from all-natural science disciplines, which include biology, biotechnology, and molecular medicine. chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science and engineering, are invited and welcomed to intern with one of the MDC research groups.
Following are the requirements to apply for an internship
- A brief CV outlining your academic credentials and research experience (if you have any)
- Describe your research interests, motivation, and the aim of your stay in a motivation letter (e.g. bachelor's or master's research thesis project)
- You have access to information on a prospective funding source (exchange program, scholarship, e.g. Erasmus internship)
- Detail on start date and length of your stay, if applicable.
- Contact information for a potential referee who could provide a letter of recommendation in support of your application.
