  •  The University administration, the Faculty of Business and Economics & the BPS Berlin Professional School are all housed on the main campus in Berlin-Schöneberg.
  • The campus, which houses the Faculty of Company-Linked Programmes, the Faculty of Administration & Law, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Police Training and Management & the Institute for Distance Learning, is part of the Berlin-Lichtenberg educational complex.

Research opportunities at university

The Institute for Cooperation with Central and Eastern European Countries in Public Reform (IMO) is an interdisciplinary centre of competence for development and consulting projects aimed at modernizing public administration and reforming the police in Central and Eastern European countries. The Institute's responsibilities include research in Central and Eastern Europe, the design, organization, and implementation of international study curricula, and further training courses in the context of the EU Lifelong Learning Programme. Another important goal is to establish and support scientific networks and mobility-enhancing collaborations.

A practical semester (internship) allows students to apply and test their newly acquired knowledge in a real-world setting.

The majority of programmes include a required internship, usually in the form of a practical semester. Aside from the experience and skills gained during the internship, the position you choose for your internship also sets the course for your future career path. A successful practical phase may lead to employment, additional networking, or selecting a topic for your subsequent thesis.
