The German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer is a national graduate school located in Speyer, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It was founded in 1947 as a state academy for administrative sciences. In 1950, a law, passed by the government reaffirmed its status as an institution of public law with legal capacity. It runs four Master's programs: Master of Administrative Sciences, The Master of Arts in Administrative Sciences, The Master of Arts in Public Economy, The Master of Public Administration in Higher Education and Research Management, grants doctoral degrees and habilitations, offers a postgraduate certificate program of complementary studies in public management, and administers programs of executive education. It offers the most excellent conditions and infrastructural facilities for postgraduate studies, research and continuing in the context of public administration. Since its creation, the school has been known as an "elite training center".
