École Nationale de l'Aviation Civile (ENAC) is affiliated with the University of Toulouse and Aerospace Valley. ENAC, one of the five founders of France AEROTECH, was founded on 28 August 1949. A non-profit organisation The Conférence des Grandes écoles (CGE), that accredits and oversees grandes écoles, has designated ENAC as a grande école (including engineering colleges).

École Nationale de l'Aviation Civile allows students to choose their course from 30 engineering and technical programs in civil aviation and aeronautics, three Master of Science programs, and 12 Advanced Master's programs. Every year, the campus offers more than 600 courses. École Nationale de l'Aviation Civile courses include aerospace engineering, aircraft maintenance, commercial airline piloting, air traffic control, flight instructor, etc.

Transportation in the city

The Campus of École Nationale de l'Aviation Civile is near the railway station. And a direct commuter rail route takes 25 minutes to travel to downtown Philadelphia. Philadelphia also serves as an East Coast transit hub. It's two to three hours away from Philadelphia to New York and Washington, D.C. Driving from Campus to the Philadelphia International Airport takes roughly 15 minutes. Shuttle vans provide service around Campus and nearby Chester, Media, local retail, and Bryn Mawr and Haverford Colleges.

  • École Nationale de l'Aviation Civile campus features modular classrooms, learning spaces, and business incubators to enhance students' learning abilities.
  • The ENAC library offers technical and scientific publications on air transportation and civil aviation professions (air traffic, IT, math, electronic systems, telecommunications, languages, air transport economy, human factors, etc.), dissertations in paper and electronic form, novels in French and English, comic books, DVDs, and other materials to teachers, researchers, students, and staff.

ENAC main campus is in Rangueil, 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) from Toulouse. École Nationale de l'Aviation Civile campuses are located in nine other places. Their locations are:

  • Currently, ENAC accommodates 744 students. École Nationale de l'Aviation Civile campus has 296 16 m² studio apartments, 420 12 m² studio apartments, 14 m² studio apartments, 20 m² for people with reduced mobility, 14 studios and 20 m² VIP rooms.

ENAC offers three types of internship, Industrial placement, Engineering study, and End of study project, depending upon the student's year of study.

For joint training development, ENAC is the only school in the world to have signed partnerships with ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) as a Regional Excellence Center, EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) with EASA Virtual Academy status, IATA (International Air Transport Association) and ACI (Airport Council International).
