Université Grenoble-Alpes: Acceptance Rate, Fees & Courses

Getting around the Université Grenoble-Alpes is quite easy. The students use public transport to get around the city and use bikes to get around the campus. There are also 5 tram lines and 47 bus lines, and the town has excellent access to the public transport network. 

The Chrono buses and trams operate daily between 5 A.M. . and 1 A.M., and the students have access to various travel cards for one trip, one day, and 10. The monthly student pass costs €15 (Rs. 1250), but the students need to be between 18 to 24 years old. There is also an annual bus pass costing €150 (Rs. 12,500). 

Students also have the facility to rent the bike through Mvélo + for a day, month, quarter, or year, at a subsidized rate. 

While traveling outside the city, the students can benefit from the Cars région bus network having lots of local stops in the Isère department of France. Additionally, Taxis and Ubers are also available for students.

• The University has a network of multiple libraries, an on-campus health system, laboratories to support various research, and a career center. 
• The University also has provisions to support students who are differently-abled to help them with study arrangements, accommodations, scholarships, etc. 
• The University also has various training methods, including distance education, continuing education, and altering training. 
• The University has international mobility where the academic requirements allow students to spend one month to 12 months abroad during an internship, study program, or a research program. 
• Students can benefit from research projects and research opportunities nationally and internationally through various scientific collaborations.

To meet the needs of the students, the University has dedicated centers to enhance community life, sports, and french culture.

• Over 200 student associations bring the campus to life throughout the year. 
• Students have access to 3 places of culture and creation: Amphidice, Transdisciplinary scenic space, and House of Creation and innovation. 
• Students have 43 student homes on the campuses and places to live.
• Over  100 student entrepreneurs, 84 projects, and two winners of the Tremplin Pépite Prize 
• UGA is home to artistic action and scientific culture at the heart of training, research, and student life development. 
• The students have various opportunities to participate in sports championships and university competitions (regional, national and international) organized by the French  University Sports Federation. 
• The campus is home to 3 mountain ranges, 66 sports facilities, and 1 Olympic swimming pool.

UGA does not provide any on-campus accommodation facilities.
