How to Apply at École Centrale de Nantes

  • Go to the Ecole Centrale de Nantes official website.
  • Rounds of applications are evaluated. M1 candidates may apply in any of the three M1 rounds, and M2 candidates may apply in either of the two M2 rounds.
  • Implementations should be decided to submit as soon as possible, but no later than the deadlines, via the candidate platform.
  • Applications are not regarded as 'complete until all required elements are submitted.' Only applications that are complete and received by the round's deadline will be considered in that round.
  • At the end of each round, the admissions monitoring of management applications informs each applicant of the results of their application.

Transportation in the city

There are many options for getting to Ecole Centrale de Nantes, such as taking the bus, train, walking, or renting a motorbike. The city has a well-developed and effective public transportation system.  

Services offered by the university

  • Centrale Nantes has over 110 clubs and affiliations that host a wide range of events throughout the year: robot club, image club, poker, preparing food, Zik, ski week, regional and national events - Créadanse, Jet d'@ncre competition, Challenge Nemo, international week.
  • The Centrale Nantes Library strives to provide documentary resources that meet the needs of students, teachers, scientists, research engineers, and Ph.D. students.
  • Inter-classes, "Volleyball Night," the 4 Ball Tournament (football, basketball, handball, and volleyball), and many other sports events are organized by the UniversityUniversity or are open to all Nantes students.

Student life

  • The Student Life Department assists students with their health, well-being, careers, social lives, community, and campus lives.
  • Students can find activities that allow them to express their talents while improving their organization, project management, and effective communication.
  • The Centrale Nantes Student Association is a non-profit institution governed by the French law "loi 1901."
  • The BDE, which is elected on an annual basis, provides a variety of services to students. It welcomes and assists new students in their integration, organizes student events, supports initiatives, and reflects students at the regional and national levels.
  • The University also authorizes a vehicle for interaction among students and other school bodies.

On campus accomodation

The University does not provide any housing. Rather, it has a long-standing relationship with CROUS and a few private residences. As a result, the International Relations Department can book accommodations for new incoming international students. However, whether educators live on campus or elsewhere in the community is entirely up to them.

  • If you are an incoming new international student, the Global Affairs Department will contact you as soon as possible by email about your housing arrangements by June.
  • The welcoming office at the residence will only hand over room keys if you have provided proof of lodging insurance.
