There are various modes of transportation available in the city including buses, trains, subway,light-rail trains, and streetcars (trams). Trains in the city are safe and comfortable and it is cheaper to buy train tickets in advance. The students can travel by bus if they have to travel a great distance. In the coastal areas of Canada such as British Columbia and the Atlantic region, ferry boats are a common way to travel.

Cycling and walking are healthy and also cheap ways of getting around the Canadian cities and towns.

• The size of the campus is more than 150 acres and has the finest facilities for student engagement in extracurricular activities.

• The University provides resources to help and support the families. There are various services provided including counseling services and medical services for the students without a family doctor.

• A Place of New Beginnings" provides services for Aboriginal students at Conestoga College, including those who belong to First Nations (status and non-status).

• Spoke Online is the web version of the newspaper of the university. The Student reporters in the Journalism programs contribute to the editorial content of the paper and are also responsible for the production of the publication of the newspapers of the university.

• The college has student recreation centers with fitness centers, a gymnasium, a running track along with health and wellness centers.

• The college has a sports complex and the students can play various sports including basketball, indoor soccer, outdoor soccer, volleyball, and softball.

• Students are provided with career growth opportunities like career events and services like soft skill development programs along with resume and cover letter building.

•  The sports teams of the university are named the "Condors'' who compete against the varsity level teams. There are intramural and extramural programs.

• 88.3 CJIQ is the campus radio station of the college. It is used as a part of the Broadcasting Radio course and Journalism program. The Local radio DJ Jeremy James got his start at the station.

The university provides an on-campus accommodation facility to the students.
