Established in 1969, the College Of New Caledonia has 11 programs under business and management,10 programs under health sciences,7 programs under human services, 5 under technologies, 26 under trades and industry, and 14 upgrading and access programs. The college provided 87 programs and there are around 900 courses. There are 5000 students enrolled in the College Of New Caledonia. The college has an affiliation with the CCC, CCAA, and CBIE.

College of New Caledonia provides a range of technical, vocational, and university credit programs for students. The college has six main campuses which are present across the different parts and offers both offline and online diploma programs along with certificate programs and post diploma programs. The College of New Caledonia is located in the Central Interior of British Columbia, Canada. This region has a population of 145,000 and it also covers the school districts of Prince George, Quesnel, and Nechako lakes.

  • The College of New Caledonia has 6 campuses that are present in different parts. The services which are provided to the students on the campus vary according to the campuses.
  • Wellness Coaching and Counselling services are provided to the students. Maintaining mental and emotional health is important to the academic success and personal well-being of the students. The Student Services and Health and Wellness of the college help the students in reaching their goals.
  • The first campus is the Prince George campus. It has four main buildings including the main campus, the John A. Brink Trades & Technology Centre, the Nicholson campus, and the Technical Education Centre.
  • The second campus is the Quesnel campus which is situated at the100 Campus Way, Quesnel, British Columbia. A new building was constructed to provide the services of trades and technical training.
  • The third main campus is the Lakes District campus which is located in Burns Lake. This campus is known for its focused educational programs. Lakes District campus had received attention for its work on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.
  • The fourth main campus is the Mackenzie campus. It offers various general interests, professional development, academic courses, and programs. This campus operates on the Mackenzie WorkBC Employment Services Centre with the government of British Columbia. 
  • The fifth and sixth campuses are located in Fort St. James and Vanderhoof which cater to the Nechako region.
  • Some of the services provided to the students include a library, information technology services, library, technological services, etc.

College of New Caledonia campus provides on-campus accommodation facilities on most of its campuses to the students.

On-Campus Facilities 

  • The Residence provides 92 private, comfortable rooms along with common lounge areas on each of the two floors.
  • Students are given the option of a standard single room with a shared bathroom, a single room with a private bathroom and trades room, and a large single room with a shared bathroom.

  • Professional Internship

This internship provides a learning environment that combines the internship experience with practice seminars. An area within the web and graphic design is recognized and the students are placed with a relevant company or individual. The students are provided 80 hours to experience their chosen discipline first-hand.
