Cegep of Old Montreal: Acceptance Rate, Fees & Courses

In Montréal, using the public transit system is a budget-friendly option. The metro (subway) system is hygienic, secure, and efficient. An added benefit is that only four lines connect the downtown area to the main tourist attractions, bus terminals, and train stations, making the public transportation system rather straightforward.

Montreal's integrated public transportation system consists of a network of metro high-speed trains, a sizable bus system, and a shared taxi, bus service for more outlying locations.

• The Campus of Cégep Heritage College is thriving and busy, supporting student activities, offering leadership development opportunities, and ensuring students' personal growth. 
• Library gives users access to various forms, including academic journals, periodicals, magazines, reports, books, and videos. There is a sizable collection of full-text resources available on various topics, such as anthropology, biology, engineering, geography, math, physics, religion and philosophy, science, and more! Additionally, Academic Search Ultimate gives users access to resources that are not yet part of our library.

• IT plans sporting, social, leisure, and cultural events to make students' experiences at the College more enjoyable.
• Numerous intramural events are held each semester, such as the annual Intramural McGill Festival. 
• Additionally, it allows all students to participate in outdoor activities, including hiking in the Adirondacks, canoeing down rapids, and other enjoyable nature outings.
• You can participate in wellness programs at Cegep of Old Montreal's recently remodelled fitness centre.
• Many of our students are members of Alliance Sport-Études, which enables them to participate in top-notch sports while going to and finishing college.
• The College also provides a range of workshops all year long, including ones on time management, mental wellness, and stress management. 
• All events and activities are promoted year-round on Campus and in Omnivox.

Campus housing is available at the Cegep of Old Montreal Campus.

The majority of Cégeps have spaces set aside for full-time students. 

• There are typically two types of lodging available on-campus: furnished single or double rooms and furnished flats. 
• Some housing complexes provide shared kitchens for meals, while others let residents install refrigerators and microwaves in their rooms. 
• No meals are provided.
• Cegep of Old Montreal's accommodation fee is CAD 5,172 (INR 312,124).
