CBS International Business School is one of Germany's top private business schools. In 2020, the Cologne Business School (CBS) and European Management School (EMS) separated into the state-recognized, private CBS International Business School (CBS). Under the moniker "International Campus," the CBS International Business School was established in 1993. According to international standards, it specializes in practice-oriented management study programs. Its portfolio comprises on-site study programs in English or German that can be taken full-time, part-time, or in addition to a job.

The European Business and Language Academy, which was established in 1908 as a private academy at the site of the current Cologne campus in the southern section of Cologne, has a close relationship to the growth of the CBS International Business School. The academic programs of this business studies bachelor model received FIBAA accreditation for the first time in Germany in 1998. The university was the first in Germany to receive FIBAA accreditation and was renamed "Cologne Business School - International Campus" a year later. The acronym "CBS" from the previous name may still be found in this name.

1. Is there a different application limit for students from other countries?
Yes. For the winter semester, applications must be submitted by July 15, and for the summer semester, by November 15.

2. Do the CBS campuses differ from one another?
The choice of courses offered, as opposed to the size and aesthetics of the campuses, differs the most because not every course is offered at every location. You are invited to get in touch with the student advice service if you are unsure whether a degree program is available at the school of your choice.

3. Can I work while studying at the CBS International Business School?
Many of our students work part-time jobs (up to 450 euros per month) or student jobs (up to 20 hours per semester). Both are simple to juggle with the CBS study. Also available in our Career Center are job openings.
