Transportation in the city

There are three means of public transportation in Auckland, New Zealand's main metropolitan area: bus, train, and ferry.

Student life

In Auckland, New Zealand, AIS has two campuses. The Chamberlain Park Golf Course is close to the St Helens Campus in Mt Albert.

  • It has a large library, cutting-edge computer labs, a restaurant, cozy dorms, large classrooms, a devotional area, and tennis courts.
  • It also provides free parking and has an uninterrupted WiFi connection.
  • St Helens Campus is within a five-minute walk away from Asquith Campus.
  • Computer labs, a study room with library resources, a gymnasium, a student training canteen, and a sports hall are all located there.

On campus accomodation

On-campus accommodation is available at the Auckland Institute of Studies campus. Students can choose either to reside in a dormitory or pursue a homestay. 

The AIS Dormitory is a three-story structure on the AIS St Helens Campus.

  • It can accommodate 120 people in single, twin, and multiple-share rooms.
  • Each room has its own study area and is completely equipped.
  • Level 1 is open to both male and female students, but Level 2 is exclusively open to female students, and Level 3 is only open to male students.
