What was the situation where you helped someone?

Last December, I was at the airport waiting for my flight. I noticed an elderly man who seemed confused and distressed.

How did you come to know about the need for help?

Seeing him struggling with his luggage and looking around anxiously, I approached him and asked if he needed assistance. He explained that he was having difficulty finding his departure gate.

What did you do to help?

I looked at his boarding pass and guided him to the correct gate. I also helped him with his luggage and stayed until he was comfortably seated near the door.

What was the outcome of your help?

The elderly man was very grateful and thanked me repeatedly. He seemed much more relaxed and ready for his flight. I felt happy knowing I could make his travel experience smoother.

Last January, during a heavy snowstorm, I was driving home from work and saw a car stuck in the snow on the side of the road.

How did you come to know about the need for help?

The driver was standing outside the car, looking distressed and trying to call for help. I stopped my car and asked if they needed assistance.

I used my shovel to clear the snow around their car and helped push it out of the snowbank. I also gave them some tips on driving in snowy conditions.

What was the outcome of your help?

The driver was extremely thankful and managed to drive off safely. Knowing I could help someone during a difficult situation gave me a sense of accomplishment.

What was the outcome of your help?

After a few minutes, we found his worried parents. They were incredibly thankful, and the child seemed relieved. I felt great knowing I could reunite a family.

Ans. Helping others builds empathy and strengthens social connections, bringing happiness and satisfaction. Ignoring the need to support each other and being selfish causes problems. Creating a caring culture benefits everyone, leading to a more united and supportive community.

Ans. I believe that most people have a natural goodwill. We know how nice it feels to receive help when we need it, so we want to help others in the same way. Helping others also gives us a sense of fulfillment.

Q3. How can we encourage children to help others? 

Ans. By setting a good example, we can inspire children to help others. When they see compassionate and supportive behaviors in adults, they are more likely to copy them. Encouraging children to help others strengthens this behavior. We can motivate children by including helpful tasks in their daily routine, like housework or community service, and by explaining how their help benefits others.

Q4. Should parents teach helping others to their children?

Ans. People from all backgrounds should teach their children to be kind. If children grow up helping others, they will become responsible adults. This creates a positive community where people support each other during unexpected events.
