Transportation in the city

Due to its central location, the place has good bus, rail, and road transport connections for those traveling further afield. Kolding is served by major east-west, north-south, and east-west routes. Regular trains depart from the railway station for all the major cities, including Aarhus and Copenhagen.

The University of Southern Denmark campus is serviced by a municipal bus that travels to various parts of the city. Bus transportation is free for all University of Southern Denmark students. Except on Sundays, buses run every day. Information will be provided about the bus service. Simply provide your student I.D. to board the free School Bus, which travels around the Campus and the neighboring downtown.

  • The University of Southern Denmark Library is home to substantial collections of materials about Denmark's history and culture, and it also serves as a venue for meetings for the state-wide digital library project at the University of Southern Denmark. Its objective is to provide inhabitants with access to information and services, as well as libraries and the state government.
  • The focus is on proactive patrols and crime prevention programs in addition to delivering police services. Student health initiatives and programs equip them with the knowledge and skills to make informed decisions that promote overall wellness.

  • Students of all ability levels have free and unlimited access to recreational activities through intramural sports. It offers single, double, and team sports for male, female, and co-rec athletes.
  • The Kolding Student Council (Studerendes Rd I Kolding, or S.R.K.), which organizes parties and freshman expeditions, is a significant component of the Campus's social life. The local student café on Campus, Café Ubden, and the council collaborate closely.
  • Students can visit the S.D.U. Maker Lab in Pakhuset by the harbor if they have a business concept or are working on something they want to prototype. The Maker Lab can assist you with your idea's creative and business development components.
  • Students from all departments are welcome to join the Muslim student organization, a relatively new student organization.
  • The S.D.U. International Club organizes a variety of social and cultural events each month to aid its international personnel in settling more quickly into their new way of life in Denmark. The events are open to all S.D.U. Employees, including foreign nationals and Danes, as well as their accompanying spouses, partners, and children.
  • To promote greater campus unity and increase awareness of Islam among Muslims and those of other religions, the Muslim Student Organization takes part in religious, educational, and social activities. The group seeks to enhance a comprehensive understanding of Islam in social and cultural contexts. The M.S.O. is open to any student at M.U.
  • Students get the chance to connect with others going through similar experiences thanks to the S.D.U. International club. Most of their activities and events take place in Odense, but they often go on excursions all around Denmark.
  • Along with basketball for men and women, the students also compete in baseball, football, golf, gymnastics & diving, softball, track, tennis, women's soccer, volleyball, and wrestling. The women's team of a well-known shooting club won a national championship.
