Although the university offers free transport via shuttles, there are many other modes of transport to and from the university. Bus services and taxis help you commute to and from SDU. However, the best mode of transport, especially if you live within a 20 minutes radius, Is to have your bicycle. You can even borrow a city bike for free with your mobile phone and keep it for 24 hours.

• The campus library at SDU has a good collection of books, journals, thesis papers, research papers, magazines, and more that it lends out to its students. The library also caters to various requests for material from other libraries on other campuses, institutes, and even abroad.
• The local municipalities service center has a registration process for students to fill out in the civil registration system, from where students can receive a CPR number. A health card is issued immediately via mail, which reaches the student within two weeks. This health card makes it possible for students to access all healthcare services offered to every Danish citizen. The university also has its medical wing that takes care of all the medical, health, and well-being issues any student may face.
• The student services cell of SDU takes care of several tasks such as help and guidance to international students, servicing both students and the board of directors, admission, counseling, etc., the personnel administration, physical surroundings, purchase, economic, and other such activities are also taken care of by the student services cell.
• There are several other services in various fields offered by the respective service cell of SDU.

• Campus Life – With more than 30,000 students and 4000 employees across six campuses, no wonder that SDU has its main focus on education, research, and innovation. However, at SDU, it is not just only about studies. There are many activities to get involved in and enjoy life along with your studies.

• Student Life – You can find many clubs, associations, societies, and even forums at the SDU campus which is quite a normal part of Danish culture. The campus itself has a good environment for student associations to flourish and work with a diverse set of international students from across the globe. There are simply so many clubs and communities of interest at SDU that you're bound to find something close to your heart.

• Sports Activities – Sports facilities in Denmark hold the highest number on a per capita basis among all European countries. SDU is no exception to this trend. You will find some sporting activity or the other that you are interested in among the many sporting activities available on campus. You can join their fitness center, swimming pool, or gym if you can't find anything interesting enough.

• Suppose you do not find suitable accommodation on campus. In that case, you may contact the university's accommodation office, which will provide you with off-campus accommodation whenever they agree with private landlords. Even in those private accommodations, there are single and shared rooms, and all of them come with shared kitchens and bathrooms.
• The off-campus accommodation is situated close to the city center with easy access to both the bus station and the train station and is close to the university.

As far as the accommodation costs are concerned, a room in a dedicated hall of residence can cost around EUR 280 (INR 22,740) per month.
