Transportation in the city

As in most major cities throughout the United Kingdom, public transportation in Glasgow is convenient, frequent, and inexpensive. Glasgow School of Art is served by a city bus that travels to various parts of the city (including shopping areas, restaurants, etc.). All school students are entitled to free bus transportation. Buses run every day except Sunday. There will be information about the bus service. Simply show your student ID to board the free School Bus, which circles the campus and the nearby downtown.

The Glasgow School of Art maintains a visible presence on all of the campuses and offers a comprehensive public safety program for the benefit of the university community.  

  • The GSA Library Services include the Library and Learning Technology. Canvas, in our Learning Management System (LMS), can be found in this. Canvas contains all student-facing learning and teaching materials. The Glasgow School of Art Library houses one of the finest art, design, and architecture collections in the United Kingdom.
  • Student health programs and Healthy Campus Initiatives provide students with the resources they need to make informed decisions and advance their overall wellness.
  • The Glasgow School of Art's Center for Student Success provides academic success workshops in addition to tutoring, supplementary teaching, mentoring, advising, classroom instruction, and counseling. It is located within Normal Hall.
