Transportation in the city

Trains, Greyhound buses, Badger buses, Coach USA buses, and Mega buses stop several blocks from the Marquette campus in downtown Milwaukee.

  • Marquette University is located on a 93-acre campus in downtown Milwaukee, with Lake Michigan to the east. 
  • The living halls and other offices are located towards the Campus's south. 
  • Marquette also owns and runs a sports complex outside the Campus, which has multiple track fields for soccer teams, among other things. 
  • The University also has its own dedicated parking space.  

Student life at Marquette University

  • Marquette has more than 300 student clubs and organizations inside the campus for students to choose from.
  • St. Joan of Arc Chapel and Gesu Church, the Law building known as Eckstein Hall, Raynor Library, the Alumni Memorial, and the Alderman's House are some popular places inside the campus.
  • The Central Mall area on campus is a surprisingly open area with trees and seating. The Haggerty Museum of Art showcases the collections of Picasso, Miro, and Dali.
