Loughborough is located at a distance of 90 mins from London. It has a central location and the plus point is its transport links which make conveyance easier for everyone. Through road and rail, you can conveniently travel to cities like Leicester, Nottingham and Birmingham. There are bus services in the campus to carry you to the connecting points such as the town, railway station and nearby East Midlands Airport. The University is spread over a sprawling 438 acres in the Leicestershire town of Loughborough; it includes lush green patches with academic departments, housing, Students’ Union, two gyms, gardens and playing fields. Places on campus that are of unique importance are the walled garden, the "garden of remembrance", the Hazelrigg-Rutland Hall fountain-courtyard and the Bastard Gates. They have a vast wide variety of shops, cafés, restaurants and bars. You can have food from takeaway snacks to high-class restaurants. It is one of the greenest campuses in UK. Loughborough University has very fancy arrangements for its love for sports. It has two main gyms, the National Cricket Performance center, the ‘Sir David Wallace Sports Hall' (Badminton Courts), Gymnastics Centre, HiPAC (High-Performance Athletics Centre), the 'Martial Arts Studio', and An Olympic-sized swimming pool. Residing Options

Living away from home can be difficult for many students. To make your learning experience comfortable in every manner, Loughborough University has a lot in store for you. They have 15 halls of residence for undergraduate students and 4 for postgraduate students. These halls are named after famous scientists and engineers. They are all on or very near to the campus. They are divided into catered or self-catered halls. The ones which are a little further away from the campus are The Holt, William Morris, Harry French,ૃRoyce, Faraday, and Rutherford but only take 5 minutes walk. For graduates, Faulkner Eggington is considered to be the best student hall of residence in the UK, followed by Harry French Hall (8th place) and William Morris (24th). Some students may like to live in a private owned accommodation near the campus and for that purpose the university assists by inviting accredited landlords to advertise their property to the interested students. There is a student property called “Print House” which accommodates a lot of university students in £98 per month at a distance of 3 minutes from the city centre. A lot of students suggest that one should rent a Full House which costs £750 and each person shares only £175. Any day, Loughborough is cheaper than London.
