KU Leuven: Acceptance Rate, Fees & Courses

Although there are many different modes of transport to commute to and from KU Leuven, students usually prefer bicycling. Every Sunday evening during the academic year, the student shuttle travels between Leuven Station and Campus Heverlee every fifteen minutes. The 600 bus runs around the ring of Leuven, stopping at several locations. As you avoid traveling through the city center, it is a very quick method to go throughout the city. This bus is only operational on weekdays and stops every ten minutes from 6 am to 8 pm.

• The entire KU Leuven's references collection is preserved across its 24 libraries. The libraries manage and upkeep beautiful learning centers, and the list of services they offer is extensive. Students, teachers, researchers, and even visitors from the outside benefit a lot from the entire repository of the library services.
• Maintaining a healthy mind within a healthy body is the crux of the philosophy at KU Leuven. The medical services at the University include general practitioners, psychologists, psychiatrists, ambulance, after our family doctor, emergency medicine, community health service, and a lot more.
• After a rigorous study session, eating well is extremely important. The campus student restaurant provides delicious food with various choices and is well labeled to keep you informed about what you’re eating. The salads, soups, and hot meals are subsidized. You’re most welcome to pay with your student card. There are several snacks and drink vending machines across the campus in case you want a quick bite or a quick drink.

On campus accommodation cost: 

In Leuven, students pay an average of Euro 350 (28,240.10 INR) a month to rent a room. Residence Management provides monthly lodging rates of Euro 337 (27,176.17 INR) or Euro 357 (28,788.49 INR) for the academic year 2021-2022. Residence Life provides monthly accommodation rates of Euro 345 (27,820.81 INR) or  Euro 365 (29,434.56 INR) for the school year of 2022-2023.
