1. I took the O-level exams. Are the A-levels necessary?
A-levels are necessary for entrance consideration at Grinnell. Candidates for A-levels must have Advanced Subsidiary (or comparable) scores and A-level projections, which are often stated in the Secondary School Report and/or the recommendation letter from the guidance counselor or headmaster. Students who attended school in nations with comparable educational systems must also meet this prerequisite. Examples include, but are not limited to, Ghana (where the SSSCE must come after the GCE or BECE), India (the ISSE must follow ISSCE, or the ISC must follow ICSE).

2. What qualities does Grinnell seek in applicants?
