My name is AAA BBB CCC on most indian documents..

AAA(surname)
BBB(first name)
CCC (father's name)

While applying to most universities
i have came across two types of name fields

type1

-given name
-surname

and type2

-given name
-middle name
-surname

my passport shows my name in this format

given name : BBB CCC
surname : AAA

so can you please tell me what my name should be for those 2 types?

(Some universities don't have the option for entering the exact name on the passport)

Hi Chinmay, your given name should be entered as per the given name on your passport only. Since the I-20 is issued as per the passport name only.
