Trinity College Dublin: Acceptance Rate, Fees & Courses

Buses, Luas, Dart, and Dublin Bikes are available for commuting on campus. Trinity Main Campus has 9,600 bus stops across Ireland and around 152 train stations.

• Trinity College Dublin has recreation facilities, a sports centre, fitness trail, sports clinic, holistic therapies, and various other sports and non-sporting events.

• Trinity College Dublin has 51 acres of campus area and comprises an excess of buildings which shows a blend of modern and historical architecture.

• The modernist architecture of the campus includes the Berkeley Library, Ussher Library, Arts Building, Dental Hospital, O'Reilly Institute, and the Long Room Hub.

• The primary role of the Students' Union is to provide a representative channel between the undergraduates and the college authorities.

• Trinity College Dublin is known for its public gardens, parks, Georgian architecture, art gallery, museums, and theatres.

• The University has pub sessions for music and dancing, and the students have access to 170 societies and sports clubs.

• There are two debating societies situated in the Graduates Memorial Building (GMB), including the University Philosophical Society (the Phil) and the College Historical Society (the Hist). The Phil society meets each Thursday evening in the chamber of the GMB.

• Other college societies include the Vincent de Paul Society (VDP), which organizes charitable activities, and the DU Players drama society, which hosts 50 shows and events yearly in the Players Theatre. 

• Q Soc - Trinity LGBT society is the oldest LGBT. The Card and Bridge Society holds bridge tournaments.

• The Dance Society, known as "DU Dance", provides classes in ballroom dancing along with the running events around other styles such as swing dancing.

• The Central Athletic Club of the University comprises five committees that see the sport's development in the college. An Executive Committee is responsible for all the activities, including the Captains' Committee representing the 49 club captains.

• The oldest clubs include the Dublin University cricket club, the Dublin university boat club, and Dublin University Football Club.

• The newest club in the University was accepted into the Irish American Football League (IAFL), and The Dublin University Fencing Club has won a total of 43 titles.

The University provides on-campus accommodation facilities to the students.

Trinity Hall can accommodate around 1,000 students. It accommodates students at the Kavanagh Court and Binary Hub.
