Palacky University is the second oldest university in the Czech Republic. It is the oldest university in Moravia, established as a public university after the Jesuit offer in Olomouc in 1573. It is accredited by the Association of Medical Schools in Europe (AMSE) and the European University Association (EAU). 

The university comprises more than 21,000 students and welcomes 4,000 international students across 106 countries.
