Overview

The Computer Engineering program provides students with greater depth and breadth of knowledge in the hardware and software aspects of computers. Students are exposed to both theoretical and practical issues of both hardware and software in well-equipped laboratories. Although the program is designed to meet the growing demands by industry for engineers with a strong background in modern computer technology, it also provides the underlying depth for graduate studies in all fields of Computer Engineering.

Academic Pre-Requisites

High School Subject - 

  • The minimum requirements are an overall average of 60% in each year, as well as in all prerequisite
  • subjects. Most programs are more competitive and require higher grades; applicants who present the minimum requirements are not guaranteed admission.
  • Minimum of three A-Levels in three different subjects, including at least two of A-Level Math, chemistry, or physics. Math, chemistry and physics at GCSE level. Predicted or final A-Level grades A, A, A
  • Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics at Higher or Standard Level. MINIMUM GRADES ACCEPTED FOR ADMISSION -37 subject points (predicted) or 36 subject points (final) overall. 5 (and at least one 6) in each math & science (6 in SL Math)


Standardized Tests - 

  • IELTS: A band score of 6.5 or better; individual component scores of 6.0 or better. 
  • PTE: Score of 65 or better, individual component scores of 60 or better
  • TOEFL: Score of 90 or above
