Transportation in the city

There are various ways to get to LUT University, including getting the bus, train, walking, or renting a motorcycle. The city has an efficient and very well public transportation system. In addition to the lectureship, a new Master's program in Electric Transportation Systems will begin in Lahti in the fall of 2022. It is appropriate for Finnish and international students and can be finished alongside full-time employment. You can also get around by taking city bus routes 1 and 5. The distance between the LUT campus and downtown Lappeenranta is about 7 kilometers. A bus ticket costs 320 EUR (26,200 INR) per hour.
