London School Of Economics And Political Science (LSE), established in 1895, is a public research university. It is a member of the Russell Group, Association of Commonwealth Universities, and European University Association. LSE began conferring degrees in its own name in 2008, after previously conferring degrees on behalf of the University of London.

LSE has over 11000 students and more than 7000 students from all around the world, representing 150 nationalities. It offers over 200  courses including Over 140 MSc programmes, 5 MPA programmes, an LLM programme, 30 BSc programmes, an LLB programme, four BA programmes (including International History and Geography), and 35 PhD programmes are available at the institution.

Transportation in the city

Transport facilities are easily accessible near the university. London's transport system is unlike any other city in the world, with its red buses, black cabs, and Tube trains instantly recognizable around the globe. On campus, bicycle racks are located at St Clement's Building, in Grange Court, adjacent to the main entrance on Houghton Street, and on Sheffield Street.

Internship opportunities (Part time job opportunities)

The LSE Graduate Internship scheme was founded in 2009 to give recent LSE graduates fixed-term paid employment working on school-wide project-based projects. Since 1998, the LSE has placed high-caliber interns with House members and the administration of both Houses.

Research projects, policy work, scrutiny and monitoring, constituency work, and general office support are part of these part-time internships with our graduate-level students for up to fifteen hours per week.
