Dundalk Institute of Technology is a prominent institute located in Dundalk, Ireland. It was originally established as Dundalk Regional Technical College, with students first admitted in 1971. In January 1998, the institution was redefined and officially recognized as an institute of technology. By 2019, it had an enrollment of 4,509 students and employed497 full-time staff members.

The inception of an educational institute in Dundalk was first proposed in the steering Committee on Technical Education Report of 1966. This report specifically highlighted Dundalk, emphasising the need for a dedicated technical college in the region.

Ms. Summer Wu in the International Office will guide you through orientation (if you miss Welcome Days), and is available, where necessary, for emergency out-of-hours office support, at evenings and weekends.
