I have applied visa with frostburg state univ applied Computer science pgm spring 2019 and it is rejected.
the interview went like this
any suggestions how to overcome?
VO:pass me your passport and i20
Me: I passed them quietly
VO: why do you want to go to US?
me:to do my post graduation
VO:how do you know about this univ?
Me: during my under graduation major project professor suggested me this univ
VO:how do you know about this univ?
(I was confused why she asked me the same question again wheather it wasn't audible to her or she is testing my consistency and anyway answered her the same )
Me: yes mam, my professor has suggested me this univ
VO: how did he knows
Me:he knows a professor who is working in the same univ
VO:How many univ you have applied?
Me:5
Vo:what are they?
Me:told her all the 5 names
VO: how do you know about this univ?(again same question)
Me: while I was doing my undergarduation major project ,my professor suggested me that it has coursewrks which aligns with my interests and also I have enquired with some of my friends.
VO: sorry I cannot issue Visa this time
