Hello. Can anyone tell me about the global pathways scene at UIC? What is the criteria?

If the application goes through Shorelight, do they get offered a pathways program by default? Or is it dependent on TOEFL/IELTS score? If one has good score then they don't get global pathways program or what? Please guide
