What is the difference between M.Engg and M.S?

I wanted to understand, what might be the challenges I might face if i choose M.Engg over M.S

M.Eng (Master of Engineering) is practical course and is pursued if you want to go for a job or career advancement after your Masters. M.Sc (Master of Sciences/Master of Applied Sciences) is theoretical course and is pursued if you want to experiment the in-depth knowledge of a particular domain i.e. mostly PhD's.
