Urgent: Query regarding TOEFL score.

I have scheduled my TOEFL test on 6th Jan 2017. Since it usually takes 10 days for the TOEFL score to arrive I will miss out on application deadlines for some universities  (i.e with deadline 15th Jan 2017, MS in Analytics). Can we notify the respective university the delay in TOEFL score?

They ask you to atleast submit an unofficial TOEFL score. But still you can try mailing them.
