MS Mechanical Engg For the people applying next year, here's some help: SoP character/page/word limits: Purdue Sop 300-500 words diversity statement 500 words UIUC Sop 3page PennState 1-2page VTech 1-2page double-spaced CUBoulder 300-500words Gatech 4000char - hard limit UMCP SOP+diversity 1000-2000words TAMU 120lines, 80char per line (but application portal recommends to keep the SOP within 500-650words) OhioState SoP 2page double-spaced Diversity essay 500words -hard limit PS. Times new roman, Arial or Calibri with font size 10 or 12 is recommended for all SoPs. Posting this here as most of the content about SoP length on the web is confusing.
