Letter of Recommendation

Question

Do I need to get my LOR on a company letter for German universities?   
My company does not offer such a document officially, but my lead is ready to provide it.  
    
This is not the case in the USA. Other European universities could also have this requirement, I guess.   
    
Is there any solution for it, so that I can use the professional letter of recommendation?

I forgot to mention, my lead has left the company. Would it be okay to get this letter on the their current company's letterhead? Assuming that letterhead is required to prove the legitimacy of the recommender.

Would this also be the case for academic LOR as well? Since the professor, I was supposed to get the LOR from, moved to a different university. Can I get it on their current university's letterhead?

So it is okay to get it on the letterhead of the current organization of the recommender. Is that right?

If your team lead is providing you with the same then its fine.

Mostly universities in US, Europe, Canada require Official Letterhead.
