Is NIOS board valid in Canada?

Hi. I am looking forward to applying in some universities in Canada for my undergraduate studies. I was currious to know whether the NIOS board is valid in Canada? If not then what is the alternative for students from NIOS, how can one apply to the univeristies & colleges in Canada?

Hi! Since NIOS is recognized by the Govt of India, it is valid to apply to universities and college in Canada. This may or may not be the case for all unis across Canada. So its best to email the department where you are applying to and ensure that the particular Uni you are aiming for does accept it! But generally, you should not face any issue as many people have definitely completed their studies through NIOS board.
