Hello, this discussion is regarding UMass Amherst Vs Arizona State University

I have admits from both of the unis.
Mostly the talk is ASU is placed in a strategic location, living expenses are lesser. You'll get your studies done with less expenses.
But does it matter that much to be chosen over UMass Amherst? Initiated this discussion for a fact check because of concerns regarding the fee. There is also this fact that UMass Amherst doesn't give out RA and TA positions to Masters students.

Any responses would be helpful.
ps. I don't want the ranking of the universities to be my basis of judgement
