First time I have scored 295 (verbal 143 quant 152) I am aspiring for 315 in my 2nd attempt. many people say that it's impossible to score more than 5 points in second attempt. If it's possible kindly suggest me how to prepare. #askMukul

@mukunda write as many practice tests as possible. I'd suggest the 4 from ets (2 in powerprep and 2 at the end of the official book) + 6 from Manhattan. For prep, follow magoosh (including their apps). I'd suggest you to enrol for magoosh, if you do not increase your score by 5 pts, they'll return your money back.

Okay then everyday matters. I'd suggest you buy the magoosh portal. 
For quants - 
Watch every single video on magoosh. Divide them into 6 groups. Watch videos in each group and that whole week solve problems based on the videos you have watched. Every weekend right a mock test. And solve all type of questions. Go through the solutions, flag it and come back to it once you're revising to see if you are getting it right the second time. 
Verbal - 
Magoosh has an app for vocab. And if you search on their blog they even have a pdf file which consists all the words in the app. Download the pdf, take a print out and start learning 40 words a day. Revise the words every weekend. Might seem hard but learn 5 words an hour. So in 8 hours you'll be done with the 40 words. 
For RCs you'll have to go through the methods of getting answers quickly. Princeton magoosh and Manhattan have brilliant methods, read them all and pick out the best one you feel. Practice RCs regularly and soon you'll get the hang of it. The most important part is to go through the solution of why your answer was right or wrong. Even if you get it right, go through the solution to see the reason. Once you're comfortable with it, you'll understand the questions better.

Depends on the individual. I scored 313 the second time , 303 was my first time score. If you understand what had gone wrong the first time , you will have a better approach to prepare for the second time :) good luck :)

Surely possible.  I got 311 in first attempt and 321 in second .. use magoosh and manhatten 5lb . Try to ace the quants and in verbal, prepare for comprehension really well , it's half of the verbal section .

3-5 points possible.. dont take too much time preparing.. it will kill your performance.. i retook GRE and got 303 from 301.. if you really want good score you should change your way of solving and change your approach to verbal.. but unfortunately we already used to our old approach..

Magoosh has timetables according to the days you have available. You may want to have a look at that. Do not be rigid to what people say. The way of preparation changes from individual to individual. And it is possible to score more than 5 points in your second attempt. Do not worry about that.

From what I see, you can improve your score greatly in Quant. As Shantanu pointed out, Magoosh videos are great. However, supplement them with some practice from Manhattan 5 lb. Choose the topic which you lack the understanding of. if you do not understand it from Magoosh, other great sources are available on youtube for each and every topic of GRE Quant. 

And as Shantanu mentioned, going through the solutions is crucial. It is easy when you go through solution of one problem. But it is way more difficult to go through the solution of each and every problem in a mock test. But, stick to these basics and I am sure you could increase more than 5 marks in your second attempt. All the best.
