Deeksha it’s UTD is safe AF ...don’t listen to Mike Tike ..he told I wouldn’t get UMCP with my profile by I got for their best programs in UMCP (systems engineering)

@deekshakbrogrammer you can give it a shot by applying early, there are instances where people with 8+ cgpa have also got in.

@deekshakbrogrammer UTD is not safe it requires CGPA of 8.0 +and GRE 308.,with no balancing out of lower CGPA with higher GRE or vice versa. Both conditions have to be met.
Umass Amherst, UC Davies, require a research profile so are not achievable.

SJSU has been very competitive for the last couple of years for MS in CS.
You should really revise your safe list.

Deeksha, the safe ones are alright you should apply there for sure, but don't rely on them ???? cause all of them have their own pool of applicants highly interested in them. 
Your gpa is alright don't worry, instead write a strong SOP.
Some of the safe univ you can consider (also apply to what you have shortlisted):
University of Houston
Georgia State University

NEU would be in between there somewhere.
Avg gre for NEU is 311.
Keep it in moderate, but it is kinda safe in the moderate list.
It is likely according to your profile, that you will get an admit. But the reason to keep it in moderate is it's highly competitive and a fast growing institution. In those types of places you need to consider the competition you will be facing. 
P.s. apply there if you like it, it is very likely that you will land up with an admit.

@Sudharsan_Ak yeah. Thanks.  I checked the other yocket profiles who got in. Looks like they are GPA centric. Mine is around 8.022. so I might or might not consider
